This years draft went down, black tie, champagne and caviar as it should have. Overlooking the top rated golf course in the world, Oakmont, the Draftees wined and dined and fought like the Real Housewives of Denton! Some, we wont name (Nizzle, TBIAC, AintReba) were unavailable, while the lone Yankee was 1500 miles away, most likely in a duck blind or doing something manly. The rest enjoyed the finest of hot dogs and margaritas and the summer views of the course. In record time it was over. Draft complete. Some interesting choices (Reba), some complaining (Nizzle), lots of regret (Cats) and overall numbness knowing what you just did will affect your life and emotions for the next 17 weeks. A kicker went in the 6th, two TE (not good ones) went in the early rounds by the same team (Reba), our first TE in the first round (Auto Draft-Nizzle) and many iffy calls at weird times happened as usual. Diesel tried to draft all the 49″ers as per usual. Pigg drafted after drinking 12 Busch Light Pumpkin Spice, as per usual. LO was just angry, you guessed, as per usual. It’s over, now its time to play ball and solved the problems we brought onto ourselves with another draft night!!! Below is the computers ranking of the draft. We will look back on this in a few months!

As week 1 unfolds, there will be upsets, busts, superstars and everything else in-between. Some would say “Settle Down”, its week 1. I say go for it, dump that first round draft pick, go get that guy you never heard off who got 2 TD’s in week 1. Chase K and DST like your life depended on it, cause it does… in This is Serious Business!!! Lets get to it!!

The Nizz, as usual, came out of the FFL closet looking fabulous and playin even better! Poor Big Diesel just got a complete makeover from the new look Nizz. 155-125. Lamar 24, Breece 19, JT only 25 before his impending injury, Olave 28 before his impending injury, ARSB 28. Ridiculous! Diesel got 33 from JJeff and 19 from the lil Laddy but nothing was stopping this “dragging” (i thought it was funny). We can only hope injuries or a new surgery takes Nizz out of the game.

In the preview battle for this years Sacko, DFUN and AintReba clashed! Not really like two locomotives barreling down the same track on an unstoppable collision course, but more like 2 sugar loaded toddlers stumbling into each other than rolling on the ground for minutes giggling! Final 136-107. Kalshi odds were an over/under of 7. So they got the over!! Even Josh Allen’s 34 wasn’t enough for the autodraft guru. Reba’s 3rd round choice of Ferguson did NOT payoff, 2 pts. Dowdle stumbled for 4. The highest drafted K in league history, Aubrey…. 2.

DFUN had a good game from Hurts, a shocking game from Goedert, 24, and UT superstar Bijan’s 31.

Easy win for the Commish, expected loss from the Ole Miss missus!

It’s not only a shot at the Aggies horrible loss this week to Kentucky (and a UT win at OSU) but a nod to the week 1 victor. TBIAC 143 Cats 123. TLaw did what he could with 26, KW3 ran wild, 34, CBrown 18. But the Capt countered with 35 from DHenry, McBride, the best player no one thinks about, because he’s a Cardinal, 24, Javonte 24, Nico 21. Just a solid game from everyone, on one of the two teams. Cats are already churning the waiver wire to replace the dead weight (hope there are enough players in waivers).

Week 1 brought are diminutive ffl’er up North to take on Team Pigg in the Busch Light Pumpkin Spice Stadium! The cold weather was drifting in as these two started to battle. Ashton ran wild, 32, JSN, 26 (-note, both players were on the Cats last year and should be given back. Please😘) Huge special teams combining for 31 Ives this one.

Pigg has Gibbs and all 33 of his points, but Stafford was jet lagged and tossed 4. AJBrown was injured early, Kyle Pitts Kyle Pittsed and captured a donut. Not even a 30 point defensive effort good save Pigg from the FFL’er who has house broken many a pig before. I’m sure we will see the game played again, probably in the first round if the Sacko!
