Lots of FFL fistfights this week. The two Dallas juggernauts met up at Jerry World, Big D and the Cats squared off in a fantasy aerial dogfight, and then the Thursday Night games (the one no one cares about) found DFUN hosting AintReba and in the finale, Pigg v LO. Even these games didn’t dissapoint, for a change! Who got knocked out and who stood victorious in week 7 of This is Serious Business…

And just for fun…

And…

Back to the action…
LO hosted Pigg at the “It’s a small world” stadium this week. Both scored their highest totals of the season (maybe, not going back through their terrible stats to check). Skattebo and Ferguson led the way for our Northern friend but a -2 from the D really hurt his chances. LO got no love from Love, and Rico was not suave this Sunday. But JGibbs was. 36.9 points as you may have noticed from above. Game over 137-122, and small win for a small owner.

In the second of the TNF games DFUN got himself into a big scrap with AintReba. Reba hasn’t broke triple digits in a month or two and DFUN forgets he has a team. WOW, this should be fun to watch! Goff and Baker were terrible, Etienne and Chubb were worse. But DFUN had Justin’s 26 and DAdams 26. Reba fought back with 17 from the Philly D and 33 from DSmith. Buuuuuuttt, the little country crooner played Mike Evans, which would be good, if he had played. And Kittle scored a record zero points, and played the game. DFUN not to be outcoached, didn’t have a kicker. And still won. As noted, what a fun game to watch. Final score-ish… 103-98. The commish gets an interesting win.

In the first “real”game of the week, Big D welcomed his old work friend, the Cats, to the country club for some fisticuffs. This one came down to the wire! Rogers and Maye were equal. As were RBs and Flex. Both teams had huuuuuugggeeee Defensive games with 23 and 25. K went to the older contestant😂. As usual, the Cats TE had a season low 4 while TKraft dropped 16. JSN snagged 26 for the kittens. Ladd had 15 and the lead for Diesel with one game to go. MNF, Big D with the lead and Nico Collin’s, the Vats with Rashee Rice. Rashee 26. Nico 6. Cats sneak off the 18th hole with a 3 point upset. Diesel went to bed with an 78% chance of victory and woke up to an L. 133-130

And in the Main Event, both hailing from the mean streets of Highland Park, Nizz versus TBIAC. These two have been unbeatable for weeks, running to the top of the brackets in wins and points. And the showdown is today! JTaylor had another 3rd TDs but CMC countered. Hurts and Mahomie traded jabs. Achane uppercutted Breece and JChase right hooked JJeff 38-12. Amon gut punched Drake. But TBIAC was not going down to the mat just yet. McBride caught a huuuuge 29. But as the Nizz has done all season, he kept fighting. Waiver wire pickup Vidal and the Chi D finished the fight with a haymaker to the Capt’s noggin. Final 181-144. Tough week when the second highest score is the loser. These two left as friends and went down to lower Greenville for a nice Cosmo and a charcuterie board.

Week 7 in the books. Week 8 coming real soon. And don’t forget to play a kicker.
