Are we really talking about this? 17 years as Commish of TISB and DFUN has never ventured into the Valhalla of the winners bracket. Is this the year? Fantrax said it is. Looks like the Nizz coach (brand new after last weeks firing) can start looking for an extended stay motel. 118-88 over Big Diesel. this game felt a lot like a certain “boxing” match that happened recently. One competitor fighting a muuuuuch inferior opponent and shocking the world by not throwing a single punch, letting the young internet star take the win. I’m not saying money was exchanged, or the FFL game was rigged… but I am.
And in the game of the Century (depends on who you are), the little LO’S came to PetSmart Stadium to fight her bitter rival, the Cats. While cruising in the Caribbean, LO dropped a 55 pt Thursday. No big deal, how many players did she have. One, Fuck. (Exact conversation had while drinking the fourth Rum punch by the Cats head Coach). How do recover from that? Ya gotta play through it bud!! Kyler kept up with Hurts, Conner beat AJones, Bijan exploded for 29, and Minny D sacked 21. But before MNF kickoff the Cats had changed the mountain to climb to a slightly less tall mountain to climb. Down 29 with the twin Ram WRs left to play. Halftime-Kupp 8, Puka 5. 3rd quarter over, Kupp 8, Puka 11. You can see how this is going! Puka scores, Kupp goes 7 catches for 90. 156-152 game over. The greatest comeback in alllll of FFL history, right before our eyes. We will all remember where we were that night. At least till next week.
